DepowerBall’s Road to Early Access – Part 1 : Costumes, COVID-19, and more

Hi folks!

With the state of the world changing literally every hour, there is a lot going on. So before continuing on, I want to take this time to wish everyone all of the best, and to the front line workers: nurses, doctors, grocery workers, and everyone in between and around – you guys don’t get nearly the recognition you deserve in the face of this crisis. So a big thank you to all.

Now let’s get to the updates.

One thing that I haven’t shown in great detail, as it is still being worked on, is our costume system! We’re going to create unlockable content for players to be able to deck out the characters, adding some pizzazz.

As for other content, the new game modes are entering their final stage of tweaks. Here’s what’s coming for the first release:

  • Free for All

    • DepowerBall

    • T.A.G.

  • Team Battle

    • Capture the Treat

    • DepowerBall

The game is coming together, and I can’t wait to talk more about it as we head towards a release. It has almost been two years, but DepowerBall is almost ready to be released to the world.
